You have a heritage; honor it. You will meet temptation; withstand it. You know the truth; live it. You possess a testimony; share it. -Pres. Thomas S. Monson

Divine Potential

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is
that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness
that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t
feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as little children do.
Its not just in some of us, its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are
liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Moments In Life

You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. "Gordon B. Hinckley

I agree...I thought she would be too, but I wonder about her sometimes...right now we are getting a kick out of it because it surprises us to hear it coming out of her mouth. But the other day she said...mom, "am I pretty"..I said, "yes you are"...then she said, "I like being pretty." I guess confidence is a good thing. I am not sure where she gets that from...not me. =)
